WVB: Fisher earns CW Student-Athlete Community Service Award
UFV Cascades fifth-year setter Kinna Fisher has been named the Canada West Student-Athlete Community Service Award winner, the first player in program history to earn the honor. Fisher has been recognized for her leadership on and off the court, including her role as president of UFV's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee and as a U SPORTS FISU Student Ambassador.

The UFV Cascades women's volleyball team opens the Canada West postseason with a best-of-three play-in series against the MacEwan Griffins at the UFV Athletic Centre. The seventh seeded Cascades took two straight from the Griffins when they last met in the 2024 conference quarterfinal.
UFV Cascades Sweep Weekend Series Against Victoria Vikes
The University of the Fraser Valley Cascades women's basketball team swept the Victoria Vikes in a two-game Canada West series at CARSA Performance Gym, winning 73-57 on Friday and 68-60 on Saturday. Julia Tuchscherer led UFV with 55 total points across the weekend, including a double-double on Saturday, as the Cascades completed a 3-0 season sweep of the Vikes.
Cascades 2026-27 Canada West Schedules Announced
Canada West has announced the 2026-27 schedules for UFV Cascades soccer, volleyball, basketball, and golf teams. The men's basketball team will also play a six-game summer series against NCAA Division I opponents.
